About the speaker: SUZANA SIMÕES, PT, MS, DPT, is the third generation of a Spiritist family from Brazil. She is a physical therapist with vast experience in the area of neurology and geriatric care. Suzana is one of the founders of the Conscious Living Spiritist Group in Miami, a charitable nonprofit organization with the mission of raising awareness about Spiritism in the United States and of improving people’s quality of life through self-knowledge and inner transformation. Suzana is one of the associate-editors of The Spiritist Magazine and a member of the Board of Directors of the Spiritist Federation of Florida.

About the speaker: Andre Luiz Freire Cabral, is a second generation Spiritist. During adolescence he participated in food campaigns developed by the Youth Spiritist Team of the Spiritist Group Marta Figner in the city of Minas Gerais. He started studying Spiritism more seriously in the 80’s. In 1993 he started attending the recently opened Spiritist Group Love and Light, in the city of Fairview, NJ. Andre was the coordinator of the mediumship activities and also a speaker. In 1995 he started in the USA the musical group "O Espírito da Arte", based on the musical spiritist group he was part of in Goiania, Brazil. The musical group "O Espírito da Arte” performed during several occasions such as: The first Spiritist Week of NY, and the first Spiritist Week of Boston. In 2004 Andre started his activities in the Spiritist Group Caminho da Luz, in Long Branch, NJ, giving lectures, coordinating the Systematic Study of Spiritism in English and participating on the mediumship meetings. Andre is currently the vice-president of the Group.
